On the Dutch and French pages of this section, you will find a short lexicon for the benefit of the litigant, providing some explanation of the most common written legal language of the Court of Cassation and the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court<\/strong>.<\/p>

This lexicon does not aim to be scientific. It is therefore necessarily incomplete and lacks scientific rigour. Moreover, it will never replace the thoughtful information provided by a lawyer.
